This is possible thanks to its split core technology where the transformer is placed around the cable to be measured without the need to disconnect the cable for installation.
The transformer converts the measured current into a signal that can be measured by the Fronius Smart Meter. The Smart Meter then converts the signal to the original primary current using the conversion ratio.
The result is reliable measurement of key data, enabling even larger PV systems to be optimized.
